I recently heard Joan London speak (cool woman!), and she touted the attitude of "yes". If she hadn't said yes to the fortuitous offer of being a weather girl, she wouldn't have been on television, nor a beloved, household name.
So, say YES! If anyone offers you anything today, say yes. No matter what.
Refill of coffee? Yes, please.
Spare a quarter? Why not.
Can I take you to dinner Saturday night? Sure!
Take a job in Paris? Oui!
